reLAXsan® San Diego – LAX shuttle

  • Each ticket includes (1) piece of luggage and (1) small personal item, such as a backpack or purse. Carry-on size suitcases are considered luggage and must be accounted for. The length + height + width should not exceed 62 inches. Your personal item should be small enough to fit under your seat or in your lap.


    Each additional piece of luggage will be subject to additional charges upon booking or when boarding the shuttle (space permitting). Learn more about our baggage policy.

  • Passengers should be at the shuttle stop no less than 10 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Shuttles will not wait for passengers that arrive past the scheduled departure time.

  • All you need is your confirmation e-mail (printed or on mobile device) and photo ID. The QR barcode on your ticket should be presented to the driver upon boarding the shuttle.

  • Exchanges can be made directly on our website. Standard fare tickets may be changed to a different date up until 24 hours before your shuttle departure time. Refunds are only available for passengers who purchased refundable fares. Click here to lookup or make changes to an existing booking. You will need your booking reference number, which can be found on your ticket within your confirmation email.

    Flex Fare tickets may be refunded or exchanged up until 24 hours before your shuttle departure time. Those that wish to do so must contact reLAXsan via phone or email 24 hours or more before their shuttle. Flex Fare tickets that are cancelled 24 hours or more before departure time will receive a refund for the price of the ticket. The remaining balance for the Flex Fare tickets are non-refundable.

  • Yes! Food and drinks may be brought on the shuttle. Drinks should be kept in a sealable container or bottle. Alcoholic beverages will not be allowed on the shuttle. Smoking is never allowed on the shuttle or while boarding the shuttle. Please keep in mind, there are no bathrooms on board the shuttle. Our drivers are able to make restroom stops upon request.

  • Passengers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older. reLAXsan reserves the right to request a photo ID for proof of age.
 Every passenger, including babies and children, requires a ticket.

  • reLAXsan® is committed to making your journey as comfortable and productive as possible. Our shuttle has a limited number of USB-C outlets that will be available on a first come basis. At this time, reLAXsan® does not provide Wi-Fi on the shuttle.

  • Bicycles will not be accepted on the bus. Other large items should be in cases and meet the 62 inch (length + width + height) limit. Oversized luggage will be subject to an additional charge.   • If you have lost an item on one of our shuttles, please send us an e-mail as soon as possible at contact@gorelaxsan.com. We will do our best to locate your lost items, though cannot make any guarantees.

  • Currently, reLAXsan® provides service to and from the following stations:


    Old Town San Diego – Pick up will be along the white curb across from the Old Town Transit Center (southeast corner of Congress St and Telegraph Way).

    Sorrento Valley/Del Mar – Pick up will be along Sorrento Valley Rd at the entrance of the Sorrento Valley Park and Ride lot.

    Oceanside/Carlsbad – Pick up will be along S Moreno St at the entrance of the Moreno Street Park and Ride


    Los Angeles Intl. Airport (LAX) – Passengers should wait under the ORANGE Shared Rides signs on the Lower/Arrivals Level in front of each terminal

  • Once you arrive at the payment step of your booking, you must change payment method to “Voucher”. From there, you may enter your voucher code. The voucher will apply and you can complete your booking.

    *If you have trouble finding your voucher code, simply check your email, you should find an email with your voucher attached.

    *If the voucher was issued in the purchaser's name, it must match the name of the original purchaser. If the names do not match, the voucher may not be eligible for redemption.

  • There are many easy options to get to and from one of our three San Diego County stops. A few options include: driving and parking* nearby, taking a rideshare (Uber/Lyft), having a friend or family member drive you, or taking public transit.

    *Please note, we take zero responsibility for vehicles parked or left near the stop or elsewhere. Please take precautions and plan ahead if you choose to drive and park a vehicle near one of our stops.

  • Yes! We have a line of gift certificates, they are perfect if you have many upcoming trips as you can safe up to 25% per trip! If you’re interested in purchasing them click here for more information.

  • Passengers are responsible for bringing their own car seats. California law requires all children under two years old to ride in a rear-facing car seat, unless the child weighs 40 or more pounds OR is 40 or more inches tall. Children under the age of 8 are required to be secured in a car or booster seat. Infants and children will not be permitted to use the shuttle service without appropriate car seats – no exceptions.

  • Flax Fare tickets may be cancelled and refunded up until 24 hours before your shuttles departure time. Please contact us via email (contact@gorelaxsan.com) to cancel, and one of our team members will be happy to assist you!

  • While gratuity is never expected, our drivers work hard to provide a safe and pleasant ride. They ensure you are greeted with a smile and that our vehicle is clean and well stocked with snacks, water, and charging cables. If you enjoyed your experience and wish to show your appreciation, a $3 - $5 tip per passenger can make a driver’s day!
